<image:caption>90 single occupancy patient rooms, a day surgery unit featuring 4 operating theatres that overlook the altalnatic ocean, ambulatory care facilites and world class diagnostic imaging services provide the people of Bermuda with enhanced care. Inpatient wards are concentrically arranged around a 4 storey atrium into ‘neighbourhoods’. A ‘neighbourhood’ groups patients who require similar treatment together enabling caregivers to impliment care plans efficently and accurately, minimising travel distances and the time it takes to move from one ward to another. Construction works rely on local knowledge, resources and industry to reinforce community ownership. The Bermuda Hospital Board intends to further develop the site and use this project for benchmarking future healthcare provision.</image:caption>

<image:caption>A ‘world class’ultra clean hybrid operating theatre for the treatment of cardio vascular disease was the result of careful synthesis between emerging clinical techniques and aesthetic objectives. Hybrid operating theatres are likely to become the ‘norm’ as more patients benefit from minimally invasive catheter-based procedures in collaboration with established complex open cardiac, vascular and traditional surgery. The London Clinic intends to use this project for benchmarking future hybrid theatre provision.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Client: Stonehaven Group Main Contractor: Solmaz Limited Status: Completed 2017 Cost: £ 3,900,000.00 A project for Stonehaven Group comprising eighteen luxury apartments. I came new to this project after it received planning approval and immediately sought to 'open up' the plan. Opening up means the programme would be more flexible suitable for modern methods of living and for the spaces to be less isolationist which, results from following the building regulations without imagination. Dudley House is in fact three separate buildings all of which were formally used as offices. Shifts in floor levels, large format windows and sunlight add interest to the apartments lifting the interiors towards sustainable luxury. My role on this project whilst at BWS was as principle architect and director leading a team of interior designers and assistants.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This emerging project occupies a rather difficult site in Margate colloquially known as ‘back land’. The scheme comprises 21 two bedroom four person apartments and 4 two bedroom family houses. Historically, the site was carved into long gardens until the early 1900’s when portions were sold off for building new single storey bungalows. Then later in the 20th Century light industrial uses began to occupy the site. This is going to be a challenging project as we approach planning.</image:caption>
